The book I'm reading still is called The Second Trial by Rosemarie Boll. The big connection I made was when the main character's sister, Jennifer, was yelling at Danny for not understanding what she's gone through because he'd always been favourited. ""How would you know?! It was always Danny-boy this! Danny-boy that? Sports and fishing and all kinds of stuff, that's what you were doing. You didn't even notice me, I just got left behind!""(Jennifer, Page 107)
This part of the book reminds me of how many siblings I have, and that not all of us are all treated equally. In my family there are 7 children and there is always one kid who's favourited more than another. I can relate to what Jennifer was saying whenever one of my brothers or sisters are getting more attention or gets to do something that the rest of us don't.
I like your text to self connection and your reasoning for it.
ReplyDeleteIts good that you are following the proper format for quotes, and the overall structure of your posts are well done.
You still need to finish your 4th blog post so I would recommend getting that done.
