Blog Post #7: Free Choice

I have been reading the book City of Bones by Cassandra Clare and I am about a quarter way into it. So far it's been really interesting and already full of action. What I am wondering about this book mostly is how Jace and Clary are connected. I've learned so far that Clary's mother had possibly been a Shadow hunter, like Jace is, but I want to know why they were put together. Clary and Jace don't exactly get along at times but they do work together alright. What I think might happen is that they start to feel and care for each other or they end up falling in love because by reading this book it's easy to predict that there will be a romance somewhere. If Jace and Clary do end up together, I want to know how Simon will react. It's obvious that Simon likes Clary more than the best friend relationship and that it's one of those typical "Best friends fall in love" sort of scenario.
